The number of tourists visiting Nepal has dropped significantly even before the festive season begins, resulting in a loss of approximately 5 crores. Parts of the highway leading to Kathmandu have been washed away by the floods, causing trains not to travel from Bihar to Nepal for the past 10 days. As a result, tourist bookings from Bihar to Nepal have decreased by around 90%.
