The number of tourists visiting Nepal from Bihar has decreased by 90%, a tragic impact: people are canceling their Kathmandu-Pokhara tours and not even going to visit Pashupatinath.

The sudden floods and landslides in Nepal and Tibet have started impacting the tourism business of Bihar. The number of tourists visiting Nepal has dropped significantly even before the festive season begins, resulting in a loss of approximately 5 crores. Parts of the highway leading to Kathmandu have been washed away by the floods, causing trains not to travel from Bihar to Nepal for the past 10 days. As a result, tourist bookings from Bihar to Nepal have decreased by around 90%.
