Elderly man dies in an accident while going to market in Nalanda: He was riding in an auto-rickshaw full of passengers when an unknown vehicle hit it and fled; he died on the way to Patna.

A road accident on the Bihar Sharif-Ekangarsarai main road in Nalanda late Saturday evening resulted in the death of a 62-year-old man. The accident occurred near Rasula village, where an unidentified vehicle speeding at high speed collided head-on with an auto-rickshaw filled with passengers. The deceased has been identified as Yogendra Prasad, the 62-year-old son of the late Mangal Mahto, a resident of Ajaypur village in the Nursarai police station area. Following this untimely death, the deceased's family is in shock.
