Banka| In light of the decision of the Bihar Panchayat Nagar Prarambhik Shikshak Sangh's state committee, teachers in the district will attend school on Teachers' Day wearing black armbands. The association has appealed to organize this program as a protest against the non-fulfillment of old demands by the teachers. According to the association, they are demanding the implementation of the old pay scale and old pension for teachers, extending the benefit of the 7th pay scale to all teachers, and reinstating the recruitment process through the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC).
