Today, on Teacher's Day, Congress will hold a ' shrouds march': starting from Gandhi Maidan and proceeding to Saptamurti. If their demands are not met, they will stage a sit-in protest at Gardanibagh.

The march will begin from the Gandhi statue at Gandhi Maidan and proceed to the Shaheed Smarak Assembly, after which a memorandum will be submitted to the District Magistrate. This padayatra is being organized by the Congress Seva Dal, highlighting the poor state of education in Bihar and the governmentization of unaided educational institutions. The march will be attended by Rajesh Ram, the state president of the Bihar Congress, and other leaders from the Seva Dal.
