Radhashtami celebrated with great fanfare at ISKCON temple: Radharani's grand coronation performed, devotees revel in Harinam Sankirtan; fifty-six types of offerings made.

Radhashtami was celebrated with great fervor at the ISKCON temple in Patna today. A grand event will be organized to mark the occasion. The entire temple complex was decorated with flowers and colorful lights. Amidst Vedic chants, a grand Mahabhisheka of Radharani was performed. She was bathed with milk, yogurt, ghee, honey, Ganga water, fruit juices, and various medicinal substances. Following this, Radharani was adorned with new clothes and jewelry, and fifty-six offerings were made to her. Hari Naam Sank (a devotional song) was also sung in the temple premises.
