The mastermind behind the former councilor's shooting has been arrested from UP: Police have also apprehended two shooters; four others were already arrested.

In Patna, Jan Suraj and former ward councilor Anil Yadav were shot on September 23rd. Police have arrested the mastermind, Shankar Rai, from Uttar Pradesh. Two shooters involved in the incident have also been apprehended. On Tuesday evening, Patna Central SP Mamata Kalyani will reveal the details of the case. According to sources, a contract for ₹15 lakh was given for Anil Rai's murder, out of which ₹5 lakh had already been paid to the accused. Police have arrested the accused.
