A case of fraud has come to light in the Kotwali police station area of Patna, where a woman was allegedly cheated by another woman under the pretext of providing a gold chain. The incident is reported to have taken place near the Bihar State Cooperative Land Development Bank. The victim was on her way to the registry office for duty when two women engaged her in conversation and had her remove both earrings, then fled with a duplicate chain.
