In the village of Matia Mohanpur in the Lakshmipur block of Jamui, nine-year-old Sanjana Kumari died after being bitten by a snake. The snake bit her three times while she was sleeping. Sanjana was taken to Sadar Hospital Jamui in critical condition. During treatment, doctors referred her to Patna as her health deteriorated. Her family members were taking her to Sheikhpura, but she lost her life on the way. Sanjana was the daughter of Vishnudev Bind. The incident occurred on Monday night.
