Patna - A young man was arrested in Dawa Mandi while carrying a pistol: Police apprehended him after mistaking him for a liquor smuggler and also found one pistol and two magazines; he is suspected of going to sell them.

Police have arrested a 26-year-old man with a pistol and two magazines from the drug market located on GM Road in the Pirbahor police station area of Patna. He has been identified as Rahul Kumar, a resident of Musallampur Haat in Patna. According to the police, he was intercepted on suspicion and found to be carrying weapons during a search. The team, dressed in plain clothes, had laid a trap to catch the liquor smuggler and was monitoring the area. It was during this time that the police caught Rahul's attention.
