Patna AIIMS - Alleged demand for ₹2.50 lakh in exchange for a job: Complaint of tearing up MP's recommendation letter and using caste-identifying slurs; administration denies allegations.

In Patna, AIIMS has been accused of demanding a bribe of ₹2.50 lakh in the name of providing jobs through outsourcing. The complainant alleges that the recommendation letter and application issued by the Member of Parliament for the job were torn up. When he protested, he was verbally abused using caste-identifying words, physically assaulted, and beaten in a public place. A written complaint regarding this matter has been filed at the Phulwari Sharif police station. A copy of the complaint has been submitted to the Scheduled Caste/Tribe police station.
