A student from Muzaffarpur in Patna has committed suicide: her body was found hanging in a rented room; she was studying for her BA.

In Patna, a BA student committed suicide on Thursday morning. Her body was found hanging in her room. The deceased has been identified as Sandhya Kumari, a resident of Sahebganj Rajwada in Muzaffarpur, who had been living in a rented house at Shesh Kumar's residence in Shivpuri since 2023. In the morning, the landlord knocked on the door several times but received no response from inside. Following this, he informed the Shastri Nagar police station. When the police arrived, they opened the room door.
