In Aara, a hardware shopkeeper was murdered: criminals shot him in the head from close range. The children were returning home from school.

On Saturday morning, armed miscreants shot and killed a hardware shopkeeper near the bridge located on the Godhna Road temple in Ara. The victim was shot in the head from close range and succumbed to his injuries before reaching the hospital. The deceased has been identified as Upendra Kumar Singh (36), a resident of Badihan village in Sandesh. He was currently residing in Ward No. 44, Gautam Buddh Nagar, Godhna. The incident occurred in New Bahiro, under the Nawada police station area, where a hardware shop was located.
