As the floodwaters rose in Bihar, female officials also started leaving their offices and reaching the roads and villages. When they found the road blocked, CO Harsha Komal of Shahkund, Bhagalpur, set off on a tractor with relief supplies. Patna City's SDO Kashish Bakshi Ganga arrived to inspect the ghats amidst the rising water levels. Jehanabad's DM Chhiring Y Bhutia reached the waterlogged areas and fields and inquired about crop damage from farmers.
