High Court Strict on Stopping Payments for Old Schemes: DM Orders Action Against BDO, BPRO, Panchayat Secretary, and Former Head of Village Council.

Following a stern remark from the Patna High Court, the issue of pending payments for development works carried out under the Saat Nischay scheme has intensified. District Magistrate Kumar Anurag has taken a tough stance regarding the pendency of payments for completed schemes in the financial year 2020-21 and selecting new schemes despite this. The DM has ordered departmental action against the concerned BDO, BPRO, Panchayat Secretary, and the then Mukhiya (village head).
