A retired officer's son has defrauded people of crores, arrested from Lucknow: The victim said he had given him a bribe to double his money, but he didn't return the money.

In Patna, the son of a retired vigilance department official, Shridhar Pathak, was arrested by the police from Lucknow on October 5th. A police team has arrived in Patna with him. Shridhar had been absconding for two years and was preparing to flee abroad before the police caught him. As soon as the victims found out that the accused had been arrested, they started going to the police station. The victims say that they were lured with the promise of doubling their money and were cheated out of crores of rupees.
