Uma Kant Kumar, the principal of Kharihara School, will receive the Rajkiya Shikshak Puraskar (Government Teacher Award).

Umakant Kumar, the headmaster of Promoted Middle School Kharihara Urdu (Boys), Barahat, has been selected for the Government Teacher Award 2026. He will be presented with this honor at a ceremony held at 8 am on the occasion of Teachers' Day at the Sri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna. Upon being selected for the award, Umakant Kumar expressed his happiness and acknowledged the dedication of his teaching career and the teachers, students, and parents of the school.
