Kamlesh, a prominent storyteller and journalist from Buxar, has been announced as the recipient of the Banarasi Prasad Bhojpuri Samman for the year 2026. This honor will be conferred upon him in recognition of his notable contribution to the field of storytelling. Kamlesh is the younger brother of Rameshwar Prasad Verma, a senior journalist and storyteller from Buxar. His stories are published in prominent newspapers and magazines across the country. Many of his stories have been translated into languages including Urdu, Punjabi, Tamil, and Telugu.
