Houses outside property tax will now come under the tax purview: Special camps will be held from tomorrow, and sanitation inspectors and sector supervisors will identify properties.

The Patna Municipal Corporation has intensified efforts to include properties outside the property tax net into the tax network and increase revenue collection. Following a door-to-door survey, special tax assessment camps will now be set up in different wards. In these camps, citizens can get their property reassessed, re-assessed, have details changed or amended, and pay outstanding property taxes. The tax assessment process will take place in two phases.
