In Patna, new streetlights will now be solar-based. These will have built-in solar panels, batteries, and lights, making operation and maintenance easier. To address the issue of malfunctioning streetlights and high electricity consumption on the city's roads, the government has decided to implement policy changes. Adopting solar technology will benefit the municipal corporation by saving significant amounts on massive electricity bills and maintenance costs. The historic Gandhi Maidan will also be naturalized.
