On Gandhi Jayanti, Laheriasarai receives a gift: the Namo Bharat Rapid Train has begun its halt. The Member of Parliament flagged it off and released it; providing relief to passengers.

In Darbhanga, a major gift has been received on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti. The Namo Bharat Rapid Train, which runs between Jayanagar and Patna, began its halt at Laheriasarai station from Friday. Local BJP MP Dr. Gopal Ji Thakur flagged off the train to Patna by showing the green signal during an event organized in the station premises. Under the new arrangement, the Namo Bharat train will arrive at Laheriasarai every day at 6:28 am and will have a two-minute halt before departing for Patna.
