The news of cracks and tremors in the old tunnel of the Jamalpur-Ratanpur railway section caused a stir on Friday. An NDRF team from Patna immediately reached Jamalpur. The team, along with the RPF, carefully inspected both the old and new tunnels. This inspection was widely discussed throughout the area that day. NDRF Inspector Randhir Kumar stated that the department had received information about cracks in some places in the old railway tunnel of Jamalpur.
