Patna - The NEET aspirant who slapped the police officer has fled. Relatives have accused him of assault and taking ₹60,000 at the police station. Two accomplices have been identified, and a search is underway.

The accused, Ghulam Ali, who came into the spotlight after a video of him slapping a police officer in the Ramakrishna Nagar area of Patna went viral, is still out of police custody. He used to live in Patna and prepare for NEET. During a verbal altercation with the police officer the other day, he slapped her. After the video of the incident went viral, the Patna police took cognizance of the matter. Two accomplices of Ghulam Ali have been identified and efforts are underway to arrest them.
