OPD services at PMCH are closed from today: Doctors have launched a protest with four demands; emergency and ICU services will remain operational.

The Junior Doctors Association (JDA) of Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) has announced the closure of OPD services from September 26th until further notice. The doctors have made this decision due to issues related to violence in hospitals, the action taken against two doctors from Saharsa, the salaries and designations of doctors on bond, and the NOC policy. The JDA has initiated immediate discussions with the health department through doctor representatives to address these issues within a specified timeframe.
