Sharjeel Imam returned to Delhi after his interim bail expired: He attended the wedding of his cousins in Jahanabad and spent a week with his family.

The one-week interim bail of Sharjeel Imam, who was accused in the Delhi riots case, has expired. He returned to Delhi today. On the night of October 4th, he had reached Kako in his village, Jahanabad. During this time, he attended the wedding of two of his cousins and spent time with his family. Sharjeel Imam has been imprisoned since January 2020. He was arrested in connection with the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) in 2019.
