Night guards responsible for the security of schools in Kaimur staged a sit-in protest in front of the Lichhavi building, demanding various issues including outstanding honorarium. The guards stated that they have not received their honorarium for the months of May and June. This has created a financial crisis for their families, making it difficult to cover the expenses of their children's education and medicines. The protesting night guards are demanding the payment of honorarium on the first of every month.
