RJD's Dilip is the richest, Neeraj has 8 million: Every third candidate has a Ph.D., every second one has a case against them, Congress's Madan Mohan Jha has 13 cases against him.

In the upcoming elections for the 8 seats of the Legislative Council, every other candidate is facing criminal cases. 50% of the candidates have one or more pending cases against them. The highest number of cases, 13, are registered against Congress candidate Madan Mohan Jha from the Darbhanga teachers' seat. RJD candidate Dilip Kumar from the Patna graduate seat tops the list of wealthy candidates. Dilip has stated in his affidavit that he owns assets worth Rs 72 crore.
