Kosi graduate and RJD candidate Nitesh Yadav has filed his nomination. After the nomination, the candidate targeted the current MLC, saying that Jan Suraj does not have a public support base.

Nitesh Kumar Yadav, the Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate from the Kosi Graduate constituency, filed his nomination papers at the Purnia Divisional Commissioner's office. Following the filing of his nomination, a public meeting and a show of strength took place. The event was attended by several senior leaders of the RJD and Mahagathbandhan, including former ministers, MPs, MLAs, and former MLAs. After filing his nomination, Nitesh Yadav claimed victory. He targeted current MLC Dr. N.K. Yadav.
