In Bihar, there's a gang that files false cases against SC/STs. Their wives file the cases, and their husbands act as witnesses and agents, claiming a 2.5 lakh rupee package and a share in everything.

"Spend money, you'll find Dalit victims and witnesses. If there are women, the case will be stronger. We have a team of 10 people. We'll get the case done with one person and the testimony with four. No matter how powerful a person is, they'll go inside." This is the claim of a gang in Bihar that takes contracts for fake cases in the name of misusing the SC/ST Act. The gang arranges for the complainant, the victim, and even the witnesses in exchange for money. After that, based on the case, they provide government compensation.
