Due to the continuous rainfall in Bihar, the water level of the Ganges River is rising. In light of the increasing water level and strong currents in the river, security arrangements have been tightened at the ghats along the banks of Patna City. The water level has risen significantly above the danger mark at Bhadra Ghat and Mahavir Ghat, causing flooding in the coastal areas.
