In Muzaffarpur, a victim who had been frustrated by the lack of action in the Sujawalpur area of Sakra for two years in connection with a jewelry theft case worth 9 million rupees was contacted by a fraudster on Friday evening, posing as the Patna SSP. The victim, Vinod Kumar Chaudhary, had approached the SSP's office the previous day, Thursday, seeking action. The fraudster assured him that he had received the case file and promised to recover the stolen jewelry within 24 hours, along with bringing the perpetrators to justice.
