The Agricultural Task Force reviewed the Kharif crop; discussions also included flood damage in Katihar, farmer registration, and digital crop surveys.

A district-level Agriculture Task Force meeting was held on Friday at the NIC auditorium in Katihar under the chairmanship of District Officer Ashutosh Dwivedi. Deputy Development Commissioner Dr. Neha Kumari and officials from agriculture and related departments participated in it. The progress of agricultural schemes in the district was reviewed during the meeting. It was informed that a total target of 1,00,125.091 hectares has been set for covering various crops in the district for the Kharif season 2026.
