Patna - Union Minister Prahlad Joshi launched the cleanliness campaign, stating that cleanliness will prevent diseases. A painting and state-level speech competition was organized at Bapu Auditorium.

Union Minister Prahlad Joshi arrived in Patna on Saturday. He launched the Swachhata Seva Abhiyan (Cleanliness Service Campaign) in front of Mahatma Gandhi's statue at Gandhi Maidan. During this time, he appealed to people to keep their homes and surroundings clean. He said that by making cleanliness a habit, one can be protected from many types of diseases. After this, he participated in a painting and state-level speech competition under the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan (Service Resolution Campaign) at Bapu Auditorium in Patna.
