Prayagraj: A red alert has been issued for the coastal areas of Prayagraj, as the Tons River is flowing 0.98 meters below the warning level.

The district administration has issued a red alert for coastal areas. Following the release of large amounts of water from Andawa Dam and Meja Dam in Mirzapur at 7:00 PM on Sunday, the water level is expected to rise by one meter in Prayagraj until Monday morning.
