Prayagraj: Police are investigating a fake affidavit filed in the High Court in the names of accused imprisoned in jail.

In a case registered at Bilhaur police station in Kanpur, the accused who are currently in jail have been charged with filing false affidavits in the High Court under various sections of law, including fraud. Anup Tripathi, the advocate representing the plaintiff in the case, has filed an FIR at Cantt police station.
