Navratri: The worship of Maa Shailputri on the first day of Sharadiya Navratri, devotees thronged the Alop Shankari temple to worship the power of Shakti, marking the beginning of the grand festival of Sharadiya Navratri with rituals and devotion on Sunday. On the first day, devotees flocked to the Devi temples in the city of Prayagraj to worship Maa Shailputri, the first form of Maa Durga. The Siddhapeeth Maa Alop Shankari temple, located in Alopibagh, was filled with devotees from early morning.
