Prayagraj: A head constable was found dead in his house, hanging from a noose. He had been deployed for duty and went on leave a month ago.

Head Constable Balram Pal (51), a resident of Jaitwaradih village in Tharwai, was found hanging from the ceiling in his room on Monday night. When family members saw the body in the morning, they informed the police.
