The age limit of 30 years has been removed from tribal hostels in Maharashtra. The agitation had been ongoing for 13 days, and the issue was raised at Rahul Gandhi's program in Pune.

The Maharashtra government has lifted the 30-year age limit for staying in tribal hostels. Tribal Development Minister Ashok Uike announced on Tuesday that the August 14 government resolution (GR) and related revised rules have been withdrawn after CM Devendra Fadnavis' approval. This decision came three days after Rahul Gandhi's 'Chhatron Ki Goonj' program in Pune. During the event, a student raised concerns about the new hostel rules and other issues.
