Viral video exposes Fortuner owner using button-operated number plate concealer to evade fine; Rs 1.22L in pending challans found

A Pune man was apprehended for using a hidden number plate device. This allowed him to evade traffic cameras and avoid paying fines. Authorities tracked him down after a viral video showed his SUV's concealed registration. He faced a fine of Rs 4,500 for the unauthorized vehicle alteration. The vehicle also had fifty-five pending e-challans totaling over Rs 1.22 lakh.
