In the Sadar police station area of Gumla district, a laborer died in a road accident near Khora on the Ranchi-Gumla main road. He was run over by a truck. After the incident, angry villagers blocked the Ranchi-Gumla main road for about half an hour, causing a long queue of vehicles to form. Later, police arrived at the scene and persuaded the people, allowing traffic to resume. The deceased has been identified as 36-year-old resident of Khora Patra Toli.
