Doctors will be appointed in CHC-PHCs: 1000 specialist doctors from South India will come to Jharkhand; they will choose the district and hospital themselves.

The health department in Jharkhand has prepared a new appointment model to address the shortage of specialist doctors within three to four months. Due to the lack of sufficient postgraduate and specialist doctors available in the state, preparations are underway to bring physicians from other states, particularly South India. The appointment of doctors will be done through a bidding process. The department aims to recruit around 1000 doctors in the next three to four months.
