In Jharkhand, this year's monsoon season has recorded 2 percent less rainfall than normal. The monsoon period lasts until September 30th. The state is expected to see a complete withdrawal of the monsoon by October 15th. According to Abhishek Anand, a senior scientist at the Meteorological Center, the rainfall was average this monsoon. However, eight districts with low rainfall are in the red zone, including Pakur, Deoghar, Koderma, Hazaribag, Chatra, Palamu, Godda, and Gumla.
