The household survey being conducted in Jharkhand to reconnect children who have dropped out of school has derailed. According to the state government's review report, 1322 schools in 14 districts have fallen behind. The situation is such that surveys have not even started in 870 schools, while it has been left incomplete in 452 schools. Now, State Project Director Shashi Ranjan has taken this seriously. As a result, 2470 teachers and 56 officials from these districts are being held accountable for the lapses.
