The decision was made to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the second official language, Adivasi, in Ranchi.

The 15th anniversary of the Kolhan's Adivasi Ho language will be celebrated this year in Ranchi, after it was passed as a bill from the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly in 2011 and conferred the status of second official language. The event will be organized by the state convener, Ho language litterateur, writer, and Kolhan pride awardee Shadobaro Budiyuli, Padma Shri awardee Dr. Janum Singh Soy, retired former officer from the Department of Official Language, Government of India.
