In the state of Jharkhand, there are 43 employment exchanges. These exchanges have registered 3,97,960 unemployed individuals who are still waiting for jobs. However, only 18,990 youths were able to find employment through job fairs and recruitment camps in the last two years, from September 2024 to August 2026. This accounts for just 4.55% of the total registered unemployed. Notably, Palamu has the highest number of registered unemployed individuals at 44,245, followed by Bokaro with 37,089.
