Nal Jal Yojana: The target is 2321, but only 1431 new connections have been installed in six months.

Bhaskar Exclusiv reports that the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission (Har Ghar Nal-Jal Yojana) in Jharkhand is extremely slow, not only in the state but also in Bokaro district. In the first six months of the financial year, a mere 37,943 new connections have been provided to rural areas across the state, with only 1,431 new tap connections installed in Bokaro district. Due to administrative negligence at the district level, pure drinking water has not reached the rural population.
