The cities of Jharkhand will now be developed not based on old satellite maps, but keeping in mind the expansion that will take place over the next 20-25 years. The master plan for 15 cities, including Ranchi, will be upgraded based on the existing ground situation through drone surveys. Areas that are rapidly expanding beyond the city limits will also be included in the planning area so that development can occur as per the planned roadmap in the coming years. An amount of Rs 19.86 crore has been allocated for the plan.
