₹98.92 crore in the accounts of 3.95 lakh sisters: Honorarium for the month of August has been successfully sent before Raksha Bandhan.

Ahead of Raksha Bandhan, the Jharkhand government has successfully sent honorarium payments for the month of August to the bank accounts of 395,692 eligible women in Ranchi district. A total amount of ₹98 crore 92 lakh 30 thousand has been paid through Aadhaar-based DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). An installment of ₹2,500 each has been transferred to the account of every beneficiary woman. The highest number of beneficiaries are from Kanke (31,620), Town Urban (26,042), and Mandar (23,008). Deputy Commissioner
