Student died in a road accident 4 years ago: Engineering student's family will receive compensation of ₹36.49 lakh.

The court of Manoj Kumar Tripathi, the presiding officer of the Additional Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Ranchi, has ordered a compensation payment of ₹36.49 lakh to the family members of Ritik Kumar, an engineering student who lost his life in a road accident. The insurance company will also have to pay interest at the rate of 7.5 percent per annum on this amount within two months. The court clarified that no claim can be made by the deceased student's family regarding any compensation for the accident.
