Jharkhand Minister Sudivya Kumar Sonu passed away due to a heart attack late at night at his Giridih residence. He was in charge of four departments in the Hemant cabinet.

Sudivya Kumar Sonu, a cabinet minister in the Jharkhand government and a senior leader of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), passed away late Saturday night. He was at his residence in Giridih. It is reported that he suddenly fell ill while going to sleep at night. His family members immediately admitted him to the private Mercy Hospital in Giridih. Doctors tried their best to save him, but they could not. He died due to a heart attack.
