Normal rainfall expected in September: Relief from rain in Ranchi starting tomorrow; 4 days of humid heat to prevail.

Due to El Niño, the monsoon was weak in Jharkhand. Nevertheless, there was good rainfall until September 1st because of the continuous formation of low-pressure areas in the Bay of Bengal. The moisture coming from there caused the rain, and the situation in Ranchi has been quite favorable so far. To date, Ranchi has received approximately 10 percent more rainfall than normal. By September 1st, the average rainfall should have been 823.9 mm, but instead, 907.5 mm of rainfall has occurred.
